Navimare Resin System 7900
Navimare Resin System is a 100% epoxy system suitable for various construction and repair jobs of wood, GRP, metals and other substrates. The product has excellent penetration and its high adhesive strength makes it exceptionally suitable for wood lamination jobs. The Resin can be adjusted to a low-density putty by adding the microsphere compound. It also enhances sound- and heat insulation. By adding the microfiber compound, the Resin system can be used for crack filling or in making T-joints.
Use with Microfiber Compound
Adding fibers gives a high-strength filler. The level of addition determines the consistency of the mixture. Always mix both parts of the Resin system first prior to adding the fibers. The fibers can be added up to 2 times the volume amount of the mixed resin.
Use with Microsphere Compound
Adding the microspheres gives a super light filler which is easy to sand. Always mix both parts first. The microspheres can be added up to 2–3 times the volume amount of the mixed resin.

Surface Preparation
All types of substrates should be dry and free from grease, waxes, salts and other contaminants. Sand the substrate before applying Navimare Resin System.
Usage Instructions
Substrate should be dry and free from contaminations. Relative humidity less than 90% RH. Mix pack A and pack B well. Do not mix more Resin System than can be used in 30 minutes. The Resin should not be thinned. Apply by brush, roller or when microspheres or microfibres are added, by putty knives. For wood protection, apply at least 4 coats of the Resin System to a total dry film thickness of 350 microns.

(1) The surface should be dry and free from salts and other contaminants prior to overcoating. When the maximum recoat time has been exceeded or after prolonged exposure times it is necessary to roughen the surface in order to ensure intercoat adhesion. When in doubt, consult your nearest Navimare office.
