Surface Preparation
- GRP — Ensure surface is dry and free from traces of wax, lubricants and other contaminants. Treat if required with Navimare Gelclean and wash with fresh water.
- Non-ferrous metals — Treat surface with Gelclean followed by light blast cleaning with a fine grade inert abrasive or disc sanders.

- Repair — Remove loose paint and contaminants. Corroded areas: power tool cleaned to ISO-St2 or blast cleaned to ISO-Sa2. Alternatively, Ultra High Pressure Waterjetting to DW 2–3 (STG 2222).
- Wood — Ensure surface is dry. Sand and remove remaining dust.
Usage Instructions
Substrate should be dry and free from contaminations. Relative humidity less than 90% RH. Substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point. Mix pack A and pack B well. Do not mix more than can be used in 1 hour. Thin if necessary with 0–5% of specified thinner. Apply crosswise in smooth strokes. Avoid excessive application. Apply 2–3 coats to a total system thickness of 300 microns minimum. Wear protective clothing, goggles and gloves.

Drying and Recoating Times
| Substrate temp. | Dry to recoat | Fully cured | Maximum recoating (1) |
| 10°C | 24 hours | 10 days | Indefinite |
| 23°C | 12 hours | 7 days | Indefinite |
| 30°C | 8 hours | 4 days | Indefinite |
(1) The surface should be dry and free from salts and other contaminants prior to overcoating. When the maximum recoat time has been exceeded or after prolonged exposure times it is necessary to roughen the surface in order to ensure intercoat adhesion. When in doubt, consult your nearest Navimare office.
